📣 Initial Tryout Date – 2026–2027 Season
The initial tryout for the Bethel Park Cheerleading Program will take place on April 10th from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the main gym at Bethel Park High School.
👟 Athlete Attire Requirements
All athletes must follow the required dress code to ensure a professional and safe training environment.
Required Attire:
White t-shirt
Black shorts
If wearing loose-fitting shorts or shorts that ride up, you must wear briefs or spandex underneath
Athletic shoes (no Crocs, slides, or casual footwear)
This tryout will determine placement for the 2026–2027 season and includes evaluations for the following teams:
Middle School Squad
Open to 7th and 8th grade athletes
High School Sideline Squads
There are two sideline teams at the high school level:
JV Sideline Squad – 9th and 10th grade athletes
Varsity Sideline Squad – 11th and 12th grade athletes
Varsity Competitive Cheer Squad
Open to 9th through 12th grade athletes
All teams listed above will be evaluated during this initial tryout session.
Athletes should arrive fully prepared, confident in the tryout material, and dressed in proper athletic attire according to program guidelines. Professional appearance, strong effort, and positive attitude are expected throughout the evaluation.
