Head Varsity Sideline and Varsity Comp Coach

Coach Jalynn brings over 20 years of experience in competitive cheerleading across all-star, school, and collegiate programs. She cheered for four years at Slippery Rock University and spent 10 years as a UCA Cheer Instructor, working with athletes from the elementary through collegiate levels. She also served as a Head Instructor for UCA, managing overnight and home camps hosting up to 500 athletes, coaches, cheer instructors, etc.

Her background includes coaching, choreography, and judging at both the state and national levels. Coach Jalynn is passionate about building strong athletes and an even stronger program rooted in teamwork, accountability, spirit, and excellence—creating a supportive environment where athletes feel valued and the community feels proud

Assistant Varsity Sideline and Varsity Comp Coach

Coach Kathy brings over a decade of cheerleading experience, beginning in All-Star cheer and continuing through both sideline and competitive cheer at the high school level. She is a WPIAL Champion and earned a third-place finish at UCA High School Nationals.

Coach Kathy also spent several years as a UCA instructor and Varsity Spirit staff member, teaching athletes across the country and internationally while working with cheerleaders of all skill levels. Outside of cheer, she works in the corporate field and is a proud dog mom to her dog, Blue. She brings energy, creativity, and a strong commitment to athlete growth both on and off the mat.

Head JV Sideline and Varsity Comp Coach

This season marks Coach Emily’s second year with the Bethel Park High School Cheer Program. She brings 12 years of cheerleading experience, cheering from elementary school through high school in sideline cheer and spending two years in competitive cheer.

As the JV and Competition Coach, this role is especially meaningful to her, as cheerleading has been a major part of her life since childhood. Coaching from the other side of the mat and sideline is truly a dream, and she is passionate about giving athletes the same sense of purpose, confidence, and belonging that cheer gave her. Outside of cheer, Coach Emily is a devoted mother and loving wife who brings care and compassion to the program

Head Middle School Coach

This marks Coach Shannon’s 3rd season with the program. She is passionate about cheerleading, teamwork, and building confidence in her athletes. With experience as a collegiate cheerleader and coaching at the rec, middle school sideline, and gameday competitive levels, she brings a strong foundation of knowledge to the team. Coach Shannon is known for her energy, creativity, and dedication to helping athletes grow both on and off the mat.

Assistant Middle School Coach

This season marks Coach Jaclyn’s first year with the Bethel Park Cheer Program, where she serves as an assistant coach for the Bethel Park Middle School cheer team. She has been a great addition to the program, offering consistent support and a coaching style that encourages athletes to be the best version of themselves every day.

Outside of cheer, Coach Jaclyn works at the middle school as a special education teacher, and her dedication to students and athletes carries seamlessly into her coaching role.
